The Florida Outdoor Sculpture Competition will debut from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Central Park in Winter Haven during the Fourth Annual Central Park Stroll. The 10 new sculptures that have been selected are in the park. Everyone attending the event will be able to vote for the People's Choice Award.

Some residents of Largo are coming to the defense of their local nature preserve. Bonner Nature Park is about 20 acres of green space tucked inside a residential neighborhood on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Land from an old phosphate mine in Lakeland has a new use, as a local business man plans to turn it into a park for residents to enjoy.

The state park has seen a record number of visitors in recent years, and so officials have opened a second caf頴o accommodate them.

Folks will be enjoying a sunset stroll at the Lowry Park Zoo AND helping in a great cause – funding research and programs to battle multiple sclerosis.

Pinellas Park, Florida - 66th Street N. in Pinellas Park is re-opened after a crash involving a pedestrian. Officers with the Pinellas Park Police Department say 43-year-old Leonard Sadler of Largo was crossing a dark area of 66th Street near 126th Avenue N. when he has hit by a car.
